With a big change in style and feel is Adam Slade’s new collection of interior products. The range includes new lampshade and cushion designs featuring bold and rich colour as a focal element. Initiated by a brief set by design guru Nikki Greenleaf, Adam’s new range began with a cushion and lampshade design specifically created for Nikki’s ‘artenax’ brand, a company focusing on showcasing independent British designer-makers whose work is colourful and bold, original and contemporary.

From this initial design for the artenax brand, Adam further experimented with colour, using vibrant fabric dyes and coloured inks to create artwork which, combined with Adam’s signature intricate drawing style, forms the new collection; a range of sensually colourful and luxurious designs which project an essence of mystery and darkness.

Original designs include Adam’s signature ‘Vanishing Scarab’ lampshade and ‘Swarm’ cushion as well as the ‘Fleur de Light’ lampshade, a design which was commissioned for a hotel refurbishment in Bath for which 207 of the shades were produced.
