Cresta Ceramics

Cresta is based in Exeter at her own pottery studio, having completed the ‘Three Dimensional Design degree – specialising in ceramics’ at the University of Plymouth.

Cresta enjoys exploring surface decoration and pattern by working on different surfaces to impart texture or by using erosion, she stains the clay and then draws with slips or removes layers to reveal what’s underneath. Cresta draws her inspiration from the South West Jurassic coastline, its white cliffs and its varied beaches.
