Renee Kilburn

Renée moved to England in 1994 to study ceramic design at Central Saint Martin’s in London and graduated with a BA hons degree in 1997. During the holidays she worked as an assistant to ceramic artist Kate Malone, where she got experiance how exuberant and large as life ceramics should be.

Renée then took a managerial position in a traditional London pottery before moving to Weston-super-Mare to set up a production studio where she tackled any ceramic product her clients wanted making, mainly cast and minimal looking.

Only recently the need to create something more than minimal has exploded and her work is now handmade, tactile and oozing with colour, just like a walk in nature can be.
