Taz Pollard

As an artist, Taz plays with the notion of fixed boundaries, blurring them, teetering between worlds. Each piece carries its own narrative, setting up a dialogue between artist and audience. With traditional beginnings her work re-defines the value we place on everyday objects making them extraordinary.

Taz graduated from Cardiff Metropolitan University with a BA Hons in Ceramics in 2001, since when she has exhibited both nationally and internationally. Most recently she graduated from Bath Spa University with an MA in ceramics which has seen a move in her work from contemporary ceramics into sculpture and sometimes back again.
