Wallace Sewell
Textile design
Wallace Sewell is a highly individual woven textile design studio established in 1990 by Harriet Wallace-Jones and Emma Sewell, creating innovative woven fabrics exploiting industrial techniques. They design everything by hand and work closely with the textile industry in Great Britain to produce pieces ranging from scarves to furnishing products, which sell worldwide. They also take on Commissions ranging from bespoke scarves for the Tate gallery shops to designs for Transport for London seating.
Renowned for their range of quality throws and cushions, their signature pieces feature three-dimensional, two-sided waffle blankets, striking, pinstriped lambswool and Shetland throws. A more recent addition to the brand is Wallace Sewell’s first collection of exquisite, hand knotted lambswool rugs.
Wallace Sewell design and produce a new Autumn/Winter scarf collection each year, which they launch in September. Their classic, unisex signature styles include bold, striped, pure silks, super-soft cashmeres and bouncy wool crepes.
