Out of the water

We’re all hoping this endless rain will stop, the flooding will recede and the sun will soon shine again.

New in, out of the water, are gorgeous lamp bases made of reclaimed oak salvaged from Plymouth docks.  The oak has been submerged in seawater for years. Where the wood has come into contact with iron it has caused a chemical reaction between the oak and the tannins staining the wood blue/black.

These natural products look fabulous teamed up with one of our handmade lampshades. Continuing the theme of water we currently have shades in golden coral, seaweed, and mussels. Hard to choose!
